Providing some information is optional. If you choose not to enter information requested in forms or messages, we'll be unable to respond fully to your enquiry, process your request, or include you in the activity you are contacting us about.

We collect personal information from you, including information about your:

We collect your personal information in order to:
administer an open letter campaign;
verify and record support;
identify broad supporter categories; and
report anonymised campaign totals.
Besides our authorised volunteers and administrators, we share this information with government agencies, parliamentary bodies, or the public in order to report anonymised and aggregated campaign results, such as total support, broad supporter categories, and whether supporters are based in New Zealand or overseas.
We do not share email addresses or private supporter details. We only publish a person’s name if they have consented to be publicly named as a signatory.
Providing some information is optional. If you choose not to enter optional supporter category information, such as whether you are LGB, an ally/supporter, based in New Zealand or overseas, or whether you consent to be publicly named, we may be unable to include you in some campaign counts or publish your name as a signatory, depending on what information or consent you choose not to provide.
