To promote and defend lesbian, gay and bisexual rights

We promote and defend the rights and interests of lesbians, gay men and bisexuals, and stand up for our right to live as same-sex attracted people without discrimination or disadvantage. We organise, meet and, advocate based on the reality of biological sex and sexual orientation and without any political affiliation.

To defend freedom of expression on lesbian, gay and bisexual issues

We defend freedom of expression and advocate for our rights and interests and protest against discriminatory policies and practices, including in employment, education, housing, health care, partnership, family and other areas. We highlight the dual discrimination faced by lesbians (as women and homosexuals) and support the legal right of separate assembly based on biological sex and sexual orientation.

To support children’s right to grow up without unnecessary medical intervention

We support the right of children and young people to reach adulthood without unnecessary medical intervention. Children who may grow up to be lesbian, gay or bisexual should be able to do so safely and confidently, without being told that their personality, body, or sexed reality is wrong.

To challenge misinformation about sex and sexual orientation

We support honest public discussion about sex, sexual orientation, and LGB rights. We challenge false or misleading claims that obscure biological sex, redefine homosexuality, or prevent lesbians, gay men and bisexuals from speaking clearly about our rights, needs and boundaries.
